Hey guys and gals, we've been running ShopKeep for a week now, and all my staff love it.
My one major concern about the app is that lack of an itemized order history. On a conventional register, the journal copy would keep a history of orders, regardless is the customer receipt was printed or not. I can look up the transaction value, but this doesn't tell me if the order was a chai latte, regular latte, macchiato, etc... If a barista spaces on an order three or four orders back, there's no easy way of checking the history to see if the cashier didn't communicate the order vocally.
I don't think it should be necessary to print receipts for every order, but it would be nice to check without having to print. A major feature of SK is the savings in paper (the app would pay for itself in printing costs from our old till to the iPad).
We all know the value of good customer service, and eliminating forgotten orders is essential to a successful customer service oriented coffee bar.
Thanks for listening,

Hi Jimmy,
Thanks for this great feedback! We will take this into consideration. For right now you may want to look at our remote printing feature which could be used to message the Barista on what to make. Here is a link to how that works:

Hope this helps thanks for your support!
