So I programmed a button in cherry tools designer that at the end of a transaction where you have entered the amount tendered instead of hitting enter you hit this programmed button and it automatically finishes the transaction, prints the receipt and opens a new customer. If this image I've included is not clear then check out my other post on Priced in store items.
Basically you're programming the use of the 'Tab' and 'Enter' button and some timing delays. I programed this function to the large '+' button on the number pad as it is easy to find.
Keep in mind that we still use the shopkeep interface with a touchscreen or a mouse and this will not replace the need to have either or. It is just a time saver, but a handy one. This will also only work at the particular point in the transaction where you have entered the amount tendered...if you hit before or after it make shopkeep do some silly stuff.
You can use 'Tab' button to cycle to any button in the shopkeep interface to make your own custom 1-button functions. All you need to do is figure out how many times you need to hit 'Tab' to get to the button you want and then punch it in the same sequence in to cherry tools designer under software programmed keys.
